Morning Light for the week starting 29/09/2025 "Never judge a man till you've walked a mile in his moccasins" - Native American sayingThe artist Joan Eardley painted beautiful, evocative studies of the Samson children who lived near her studio in a deprived area of central Glasgow. She portrayed the reality of their lives, poor but loved. It can be tempting to make assumptions, and judgements, about people without an understanding of what their lives involve and who they really are. Taking the time to "walk a mile in their moccasins" makes a difference.
