The Roman Catholic Chaplaincy is located at 23-24 George Square (you are welcome to visit!), and their website is at http://scotland.op.org/edinburgh/.  The resident Roman Catholic Chaplains are also Honorary Chaplains to the University.

Father Dermot Morrin

Fr Dermot Morrin OP studied engineering in Dublin and then theology and philosophy in Rome and Oxford. Before coming to Edinburgh in 2009, he was a parish priest in London. He has a keen interest in the history of art and enjoys cooking, hiking and gardening.

Father Thomas Mannion 

Fr. Thomas studied Theology at Heythrop College, University of London; after graduating in 2013 Fr. Thomas worked in catechetics in the Archdiocese of Westminster before entering the Order of Preachers in 2016. He studied philosophy and theology at Blackfriars studium in Oxford achieving a 'summa cum laude' in his systematic theology baccalaureate from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome and was ordained to the priesthood in 2023.  In his spare time he can be found typing away on his typewriter, reading Paddington, or drinking hot chocolate sharing 'spooky stories'. Fr. Thomas' current academic interests include the communion of saints, papal history, and human rights.
