Fr Benjamin Earl OP

Fr Benjamin Earl OP entered the Dominicans in Edinburgh after studying Mathematics and then Computer Studies at Oxford. After ordination and studies in canon law at the Pontifical University of St Thomas, Rome, he worked in Oxford and in Durham, before being called back to Rome as Procurator General, the Order's representative to the Vatican. Fr Benjamin is now Parish Priest of St Albert's, the parish for students and staff of Edinburgh's universities, and also serves as Consultor of the Dicastery for Consecrated Life in Rome.

Fr Andrew Brookes OP

Andrew studied biology at Reading, and then studied philosophy and theology at Rome. After 5 years as a teacher of Religious and Moral Education in Dundee, he worked for several years creatively in the fields of education, ecumenism and evangelisation in Scotland and further afield. He then joined the Dominicans in 2009, studying in Cambridge and Oxford before priestly ordination. He undertook diverse parish and other pastoral work in Newcastle and London before taking up his current role in Edinburgh.

When time allows (!), he maintains his interests in hill walking - he completed his Munros in 2000 - and traditional Scottish music and the arts.

Fr Dermot Morrin OP

Fr Dermot Morrin OP studied engineering in Dublin and then theology and philosophy in Rome and Oxford. Before coming to Edinburgh in 2009, he was a parish priest in London. He has a keen interest in the history of art and enjoys cooking, hiking and gardening.
