After 5 years as a teacher of Religious and Moral Education in Dundee, he worked for several years creatively in the fields of education, ecumenism and evangelisation in Scotland and further afield. He then joined the Dominicans in 2009, studying in Cambridge and Oxford before priestly ordination. He undertook diverse parish and other pastoral work in Newcastle and London before taking up his current role in Edinburgh.When time allows (!), he maintains his interests in hill walking - he completed his Munros in 2000 - and traditional Scottish music and the arts.
