Compassion For Our Times

Compassion For Our Times brought to you by the University Chaplaincy Team.

There are questions raised about compassion – Is it practical? Is it ‘soft’? Is it naïve?, does it take too much time? does it lead to fatigue? and so forth. In the items posted we seek to address such questions as they arise.

Compassion For Our Times blog posts look at the role of compassion in our daily lives.  Previous blog posts have touched on themes such as compassion in the time of COVID19, racism, intercultural compassion and compassion in relation to relgion, such as Islamaphobia

You can read the full blog posts at our Compassion For Our Times homepage here and learn more about The Chaplaincy's work with The Compassion Salon and the Edinburgh University Global Compassion Initiative.
