Morning Light 11

Morning Light for the week beginning 28/04/25

“Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.”

- Desmond Tutu

This knitted circulatory system is a vivid reminder of connection. Not just within our bodies, but in our lives. The heart does not work alone; it relies on an intricate network, just as we do. Blood flows outward, delivering nourishment, only to return and begin the cycle again. In the same way, our actions ripple outward, shaping the world around us, before reflecting in ways we may not expect.Knitting, like human connection, is built stitch by stitch. Small, intentional efforts, acts of kindness, moments of care, create something strong and lasting. This piece reminds us that we are not isolated; we are part of a greater system of giving and receiving. Just as a well-tended heart sustains the body, a generous spirit sustains the soul. What "invisible networks" sustain you - emotionally, socially, or spiritually?
