"Gi' me a spark o' nature's fire

Edinburgh University Medical School is celebrating its 300 years and has published a little book of poetry "We are just getting started". In it is this excerpt from the poem by Robert Burns, "Letter to John Lapraik April 1st, 1785"  which celebrates nature's power to teach. We may not, today, be at the plough or cart but, when we feel that we're wading through mud and mire, thinking about the creativity of nature may help.
